Would you like to come and work at St Joseph’s, a small semi-rural Roman Catholic primary school nestled in beautiful moorland surroundings above the mill town of Darwen in East Lancashire?
We are looking to appoint an exceptional teacher who will have responsibility for RE, Worship and the Catholic Life of the school. This post will commence on 1st September 2024.

Shortlisting: Friday 17th May 2024
Shortlisted candidates to teach a lesson and lead an act of worship at St. Joseph’s on Thursday 23rd May 2024.

Teaching & Learning Assistant Level 2 (1:1 Support) and Welfare Assistant

We are not going to bore you with our high expectations of outstanding teaching; dedication and enthusiasm, - consider that said! What we will tell you is we have amazing children, supportive parents, a growing team of hardworking staff and a desire to become an outstanding school that gives children the best start possible. We are proud of our Catholic tradition and the excellent links we have within our parish, and we are looking to recruit an exceptional Teaching Assistants – experience of working with a child with moderate learning difficulties preferable but not essential.
