Chaplaincy
Pupil Chaplaincy
St Joseph's has a dedicated team of Pupil Chaplains who all have a vital role to play in enhancing the Religious Life of our school.
Our Pupil Chaplains work hard to promote our Catholic faith in school and be a link between the school and our parish.
The job of Pupil Chaplain has a very high profile in school and some of the tasks these pupils carry out include welcoming new pupils and staff to our school, leading Masses and Liturgical events, delivering whole school Celebration of the Word and passing on our prayer traditions to younger children.
Our four Chaplains are from Year 6 and are baptised Catholics. They are supported in their work by our Faith Council which has two representatives from each class, of varying faith backgrounds.
