Solidarity
Solidarity means standing together. It’s about remembering that we are all part of one big human family, no matter where we come from or what we look like.
In Catholic Social Teaching, solidarity reminds us that:
We are all connected and all important.
We should support one another, especially people who are struggling.
When someone is treated unfairly, we should care enough to help.
Working together can make the world a kinder and fairer place.
Solidarity isn’t just a feeling — it’s something we do.
It means choosing to be a friend to others, even if they’re far away.
At school, we can show solidarity by:
Including others and being a good friend
Helping people who feel left out or upset
Taking part in charity events for people around the world
Treating everyone with respect and kindness
Solidarity is all about being united, helping others, and showing love just as Jesus taught us.
