Hi there! I’m Miss McHugh and I am delighted to be part of the team here at St Joseph’s!

I work as a special support assistant, supporting children with a wide range of individual learning needs, providing them with encouragement, helping them to overcome challenges, develop their confidence and independence. Positive relationships with the children are key to making all this happen and I’m always proud of how far the children push themselves and of what they achieve!

Outside of school I am a HUGE nerd!! I love all things Harry Potter, I am a proud member of the Slytherin house 💚! I'm also a Lord Of the Rings fan, enjoy building LEGO and gaming. I also love nothing more than a rainy day, lighting a candle and getting cozy under a blanket with a good book.
