Hello! I’m Miss Shannon and I am currently in my second year as an Early Career Teacher (ECT). I absolutely love teaching and feel very lucky to be doing a job that I am so passionate about. I particularly enjoy being organised and, if you know me, you’ll know I always have a to-do list nearby!

I love creating a positive and welcoming classroom where children feel happy, supported and excited to learn. Seeing children grow in confidence and develop new skills is one of my favourite parts of teaching. I also feel incredibly lucky to be part of the St Joseph’s community. It is such a special and welcoming place, and I genuinely love being part of it. St Joseph’s has become a place that feels like home to me, and I could never imagine wanting to leave!

Outside of school, I have two young children who keep me very busy! I love spending time together as a family, going on family days out and making lots of special memories. When I get the chance, I also love to curl up with a good book and enjoy some quiet time reading.
