I am Mrs Knowles the Executive Head teacher of St Joseph's. I have been a teacher since 1998 and worked across Cheshire and Bolton before coming to Darwen in 2018.  I have three grown up children. 

Within school, I love reading, drama and enjoy the creative side of the curriculum.   

My job is to keep everyone safe, ensure that every child within our school reaches their full potential and is who God calls them to be. I am honoured to be a Catholic Schools Inspector across Salford Diocese.

When I’m not at school I like to swim and go for country walks. I love to go to musicals and concerts with my family and also walking my two cockerpoo dogs Ted and Reg.
